I take a seat in Greenwich Park,
London’s vast green space
accessed by boat.
The Cutty Sark presides below,
the ship and buildings heralding
Britain’s past.
Presiding above, the Observatory,
marking global space, time and
the present moment.
In that moment I sit and ponder
amidst the greenery and picnickers
my future plans.
Past, present and future converge
seated in Greenwich Park
on a sunny day.
